AMDA (Musical Theatre 4 Year BFA)

Hello, I have several questions about The American Musical and Dramatic Academy.
I am an international student and I would like to attend there, and I have this questions, if someone could help me, would be really nice

  1. Do I need to have groot grades at school to be accepted?
  2. Which campus is better ? NY or LA?
  3. If i don’t know how to dance, but i do know singing and acting?, Can i be accepted as a musical theatre student?
4.Is the housing better in NY or LA?
  4. How many hours per day are the classes held?
  5. When is the first showcase for the 4 year program?
  6. When will I be able to audition for a job when I am still in AMDA’s BFA Musical Theatre program?

Lots of questions, but I seriously need help guys!
THANKS A LOT FOR YOUR PATIENCE

You should bring this inquiry to the Theater and Musical Theater forums. I can say that AMDA is not known for high academic standards, and so you shouldn’t worry about that aspect. Most Musical Theater programs require some dancing, but the audition requirements will vary considerably.

Most people on this College Admissions forum are not knowledgeable about the subject, but there are some very helpful people on the Theater and Performing Arts major threads, so open a thread there.
