Out of context, that post could seem pretty weird
(dankwood’s, obviously)

Yep - definitely try something by Stone - you can find Arrogant ■■■■■■■ Ale in some bars on the east coast.

And here are all the smilies…
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/misc.php?do=showsmilies

Anyway, you’ve all given me plenty of food (or rather, drink) for thought.

God - I can’t believe I actually made that pun. I apologise.

I’ll try to sample some of these in the UK, and get back to you.

Blue Moon is good and is pretty widely available in the Midwest. Goose Island beer is very popular in Chicago.

This is a college forum and no one has mentioned Natty Light yet? I am shocked. In all seriousness though, I would have to give my vote to Yuengling, good stuff there.

Keystone Light
Coors Light
Old Milwaukee
Pabst Blue Ribbon
Busch Light
Natural Light

Can’t really go wrong with any of these. Excellent ingredients on these = smooth flavor.
The good thing is you can pick them up at any of your local corner stores. The only down side is they’re pretty expensive. Maybe about 4 bucks for a six pack, but hey that’s the price you pay for hoppy goodness. Drink on my friend!

Blue Moon
Magic Hat Breweries (I’m partial to #9)
Rolling Rock
Goose Island (harder to find outside of the Midwest)

And if I have to, Sam Adams. Admittedly, these are all expensive.

I’m also a fan of most Japanese beers, but that’s not from America.

Note these are all lighter wheat ales and lagers.

How is my post weird?
Land shark is delicious!!

Boulevard Brewery

Drink keystone ice

**** anything that is “light”. Its just watered down beer. Get more drunk by drinking **** that is either regular or is “ice”---- means moer alc per beer

Im serious. Miller high life is good cheap ass brew that’ll get you messed up

i think american beer tastes like water so my vote goes to Japan for Sapporo & to Ireland for Guinness of course.

I’ve never been much of a Guinness fan - stout always tastes like barbeque flavour crisps to me.

Agreed on Japanese beers - that’s some pretty good stuff.

Yeah, in terms of American beer–Yuengling, Sam Adams summer, and Blue Moon are my favorites.

Who said Natty Light? That stuff is straight water with a little **** coloring and foam. Good for beer pong and that’s about it. Then again, $11 for a 30-pack…

On foreign beers…Guinness is my favorite. Spanish beers are nice if you want a “light” one. Anyone tried Desperado? It’s a tequila-based French beer. Fun stuff.

Rogue Dead Guy Ale
Smutty Nose

Firestone Double Barrel Ale. It’s good, but of course more pricey than your standard crap. Of course I live like five miles from the brewery though, so I may be biased.

dont know lot about beers…
but I like Corona with limon,
and Mexico is near enough so it dont get expensive right?

Couldn’t have said it better myself.

I kid, I kid. Corona is alright if you’re cooking out or something.

I haven’t found an American beer I like. In general, I don’t like beer, I’d rather have a good Riesling. I did once have a plum beer while vacationing in Jamaica that was amazing. I should have wrote the name down so I could find it online or something.

Another good drink is lychee sake, but once again, I failed to write down the name of the actual company that made it, so now I just buy any lychee sake I happen across.
