So I hadn’t heard much about Shenandoah until my D and I started this MT college journey. However from what I’m seeing I am really starting to think this as a very viable option for my D. Although she is happy either way, conservatory or non-conservatory, I am seeing that Shenandoah is a little different from many of the conservatories I have researched. There seems to be some development outside of musical theater which really is the best of both worlds for my D. She would like to take some language classes (French) and study abroad. Looking at Shenandoah it looks like a good fit. Question. Do any of your MT students minor in a subject? Especially if they have taken several AP classes in High School?

Some have been able to minor. If you have AP courses, it makes things a lot easier. In order to graduate in four years, she may have to take one or two courses over the summer, but those can be done at a community college or through an online program. It really depends on the minor she would like to pursue.

Great! Thanks!
