I have been acepted to both schools and can't decide on what school to go to. I want a good school but also want to want to have fun in college.

I can honestly tell you that Tulane is made up of students who want a good school but also have a lot of fun. It's definitely work hard and play hard--more so than any other school I've seen. Everyone here is smart, but everyone here also loves to have their fun whenever possible. I haven't met anyone yet who attends Tulane and hasn't fallen absolutely head-over-heels in love with it. There's always something to do here.

I know a girl at American, and she likes it; she has her fun on the weekends and loves DC. But I guess there's not as much of a big campus life as she would prefer; most of their fun happens when they go into the city. I think Tulane has more of a typical college experience; I spend 99% of my time either on campus or just off campus in a local bar, surrounded completely by Tulane students, which I really like, especially since the city is always there for us to utilize anyway. Obviously I'm biased, but I don't think any school quite compares to how awesome Tulane is.

Tulane is a better school and NOLA is a lot more fun than DC. Unless you are a political junky go to Tulane.
