American U. vs Clark U. vs U.of Denver

I have been accepted to these schools and got very good grants.
my out of pockets are almost same for all three school
For PoliSci or International Relations, which school is better?

American by far.

@PurpleTitan Thank you

The University of Denver has the respected Korbel School for international relations.
Despite its small size DU has produced a number of prominent alumni in government and other fields including former Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice, several distinguished senators (Pete Domenici, Byron Dorgan, Paul Laxalt), congressman Morris Udall, the eminent historian Peter Gay, and playwright Neil Simon. The Denver location may have some appeal (if you’re into winter sports for example) but of course can’t compete with D.C. for government-related internships. For the latter reason as well as strength in IR, I’d go with AU.

@tk21769: I thought it was UD’s masters program that is reputed. Not their undergrad.

AU> UDenver> Clark

@PurpleTitan: there’s some spillover. UDenver is regularly listed as an excellent school for IR.

For your particular area of interest I’d opt for American.

DU (it’s not referred to as UD) also gets to claim Madeline Albright as an alum, so if plans including becoming secretary of state, DU has a good track record.

DU has great sports (for personal participation and school teams) and although urban, it is a very pretty and contained campus.

@twoinanddone , Albright attended Wellesley, while Condoleezza Rice attended DU. (Apparently both of their fathers taught at DU and interestingly, they attended private high schools a short distance apart.)
