American is my top choice for next year but it’s a bit of a stretch school for me, academically and financially. June 8th I’ll be going for my first campus tour. I’m not sure if anyone else is a in a similar situation as me

I think this thread will pick up after school starts and students begin to make their decisions. My son will be applying ED1 at AU. He’s high stats so that is why we are applying ED1. In addition to extensive research, we’ve been to a tour and a preview day so I have a lot of information if you have questions about ED. ED1 was 89% for the incoming class and ED2 was lower 80’s%. GW is our back-up ED2 if he doesn’t get in.

I just got my RD acceptance packet for the School of Business on Thursday.

EC: President of the Wall St. Club, Captain of the Stock Trading Team, Varsity Sailing, Academic Challenge Teams, STEM, Competitive Target Shooting, President of TED X Chapter, and Manager of my Schools Social Media Accounts.
In regards to work experience I have worked for the US House of Representatives with a Member Office for a little under three years. I also had letters of recommendation from multiple ranking members of Congress and their staffs.

EC: NYPD law enforcement explorers (i have a rank of corporal) , upward bound, JSA debate team vice president, Cross country varsity team, and I’ve done an internship for howard university. I also put that I wanted to be a forensic accountant so since they’re near FBI head quarters i guess that has to do with it, and because of the law enforcement explorers.
