American University--Missed priority deadline

This past friday was the priority deadline for FDDS and Honors…I have the FDDS application done, but not the Honors yet. I thought I should submit them together, which is why i didn’t submit FDDS yet. I believe I am a strong contender for both, so will it really hurt me that I missed the priority deadline? Should I now submit as soon as possible or take my time until the final deadline approaches?

I have the same question! I missed the priority deadline as well because I felt like my essays weren’t quite ready. I’m only applying to the Honors program. I really hope that it’s better to take your time and make sure the application is as best as it can be.
