<p>I am debating if whether or not American University is the place for me, and i know it is a dry campus, how does this affect social life at American?</p>
<p>If you really want alcohol, it would be readily available at almost any university. You may find a liking for a different activity of some sorts with a dry campus but trust me people party.</p>
<p>Isn’t American in Washington DC? I’d think it would be a cakewalk getting alcohol…</p>

<p>just cos our ghettos have as many liquor stores as Manhattan has starbucks doesn’t mean it’s easy to get!</p>
<p>It’s easy to get alcohol anywhere. Except maybe BYU in Utah.</p>
<p>If you are English you can apply for a Citizen UK card that says you are twenty one and use it in America but if you buy a fake ID in America apparently it’s illegal - guess it’s a loophole.</p>
