American University vs Loyola New Orleans

I would be paying the same tuition for both and also going undecided.
Which one should I go to? DC or NO?

As a recent graduate of Loyola, I cant help but have good things to say about the university. I enjoyed the diverse mix of students, the small class size and of course, the incredible location. Loyola is just as unique and exciting as the city it is located in, and this was one of the driving forces behind by decision to attend.

You should ask yourself, “What am I looking for in my college experience?” If you are going into college undecided, which school will help you find out what you are best at? How would you like to spend your time in college? Do you aspire to join student government, participate in community service, play sports, play music, work an internship, get involved with Greek life, learn as much as possible, ect?

If you havent already, you need to visit both campuses and spend a day exploring both D.C. and New Orleans. I know that Loyola offers $1,000 off the first year’s tuition if you visit before May 1. This is by far the best to get a feel for where you want to spend the next four years of your life.

It’s a tough choice. Personally, I would rather go to Loyola New Orleans, but even though I like New Orleans, I love DC, so it would be hard.

Visiting is imperative. You don’t have money or a preferred major to differentiate between the two, so you need to get a feel for the campus communities and the surrounding areas.

Bump! Bump! Bump!

I’m actually, myself, debating between Loyola New Orleans and University of Iowa. I toured Loyola and LOVED it! New Orleans is SUCH a cool city!! I just don’t know what I want in college, though, so I have yet to make up my mind. I’m from WI and I really want to get out of the mid-west but Iowa is cheaper so I’m undecided like you!! Haha
