<p>I would just like to say: Subjective. Personally, I’ve heard better things about American and didn’t like GWU, but I am not applying to either. You don’t need to worry about rankings.</p>
<p>GW is ranked 51. American is ranked 79.</p>
<p>I have heard mediocre things about American. GW gets pretty positive responses. I know the GW law school is highly respected as well and I personally like the GW campus, med school, law school, etc. I was pretty turned off by American. To each his own though.</p>
<p>It really depends on what you want to major in. The campuses are different. From other posts, you said you were thinking of graphic design? My D is in international relations at GWU, and loves the school, but it’s not a school I would think of if graphic design is mentioned.</p>

<p>GWU had a 31% acceptance rate for 2010. Getting more selective every year.</p>
