Haha! Funny how waiting on college decisions involves a lot of wishing. I’m still frightened that my Admissions Status Update hasn’t changed. :/

@worriedalways
I’m originally from Houston, TX and went to a really rigorous prep school but of course didn’t fit in there either.

SAT score- I didn’t submit mine but my ACT was 31

I am a sophomore at Boston University with a GPA of 3.41 (approx. a 3.575 – A, A-, B+, B+)
(not including this semester, I also overloaded with graduate/law courses so that brought everything down a tiny bit, except that one class, go figure) PLUS, BU (CGS) is notorious for grade deflation (<a href=“Can Tough Grades Be Fair Grades? - The New York Times”>Can Tough Grades Be Fair Grades? - The New York Times)

I will have 68 credits at the end of this semester.
High school GPA- 83.5

Extra-curricular’s- way too many to put on here… (I started my professional careers at 15 and haven’t really slowed down since…) Everything from president and other office positions of my chapter in national charities league to starting my own catering company, running the division pilot office of a national marketing firm, being a nationally certified yoga instructor and rockclimbing coach/superivisor, etc; to doing professional makeup, costuming, musical theatre; coached swimming/lifeguard, dean’s host (college rep), choir rep/member. etc. so yeah.

I’ve applied to:
Hampshire (Accepted)
Brown (legacy)
Amherst
Vassar
Wesleyan

qualified much…

The anxiety is eating me alive. I just want to knowww.

I wanna go swing. I think it would help.

@Ronlo on the last page two people posted their acceptance. That’s all I could find.

You just seem really qualified litton

oh thanks

I hope it helps…

@ronlo: I mean, I try my hardest to appear to be chillin’, but I am really a bundle of anxiety.

I need to take that pill so I can appear chillin’ as well, haha. I hope I’m one of the 10 community college students usually accepted! I would prefer to know my fate April 30th as opposed to May 15th =/ .

@Alyssa, you got this. It’s okay! Ehh

@Ronlo haha no!

Ugh it would suck if you guys knew by April 30th but I didn’t know mine

Hey guys, I just checked the AC data and found a new thing in my documents folder - “Transfer Courses in Progress.” What does this mean? Do anyone see this too?

I believe it’s always been there for me. I assume it to be an indication that we’re taking courses this spring.

@Yongjip

Yeah it says that for me too. It’s actually been there for a while. Did you send in a Mid-Term report?

@jyoungs Did you send in one?

@jyoungs & worriedAlways

was it there for a while? I have not noticed it… I think I sent the list of courses I’m taking, not the mid-term report… Well… I do not see anything that says I need to send the mid-term report in their instruction though… Is your “Transfer Courses in Progress” complete?

Yeah mine is complete. Yeah mine was there for a while because I sent in my mid term report when I sent in my transcripts and such…it says received 2/28/12. Is yours complete?

I forgot I had sent in the the report and I called and asked if i needed to and the office said like 50% of the applicants send them in and the rest don’t …they don’t ask though
