got an email from Amherst: "This year, we had a historically large and diverse group of international applicants – a record total of more than 2,500 students applying from 145 countries and over 1,760 different secondary schools. As one of only 89 applicants admitted… "

That’s like a 3% acceptance rate.

That’s a good indicator that LAC reputation is strong internationally.
