I will be taking 3 AP classes at least before senior year {US History, Biology, Calculus AB/BC <-depending on which one is suitable for me}, or 5 if I add in two other APs, but I'm not sure if that's a manageable workload for me just for junior year.

For senior year, I am going to take AP English, AP Calc BC {if I take AB junior year, or take Statistics if I decide not to take it junior year}, AP Spanish, possibly take AP Chem at a different school or self-study it, and AP Economics {this is only for a semester though, and CB doesn't have an AP Econ test anyways}.

I know that probably around 7-9+ APs are good, but I'll only be able to get in 3 or 5 APs by the time I finish Junior year. And only 5 APs if I take all 5 during junior year.

I'm planning to apply to UCB, UCLA, Harvard, Stanford, Yale, and Princeton {I'm still considering some other schools}, and if they see my application, they won't be able to consider my senior APs.

How many APs did you guys take before senior year, and if you took less than 7-9 by junior year, did it affect you? Because I don't want my chances to be killed by the number of APs I have or by overkilling myself during Junior year.

And the thing is, is that most of the APs will be geared toward math/science, while the area I want to major in is in English.

Thanks :) Please take this seriously because I'm really worried.
