^lol. me too. i keep saying i’m going to do it every morning but then i always skip it and snooze for an extra hour.

Platts-- No matter how little sleep I get I can’t fall asleep until after 1am. I could pass out in the middle of the day if I really wanted to, but I don’t thinking I need to save the exhaustion for nighttime so I can sleep but it doesn’t work. If desperate for a full night of sleep I may take a tylenol PM at 8pm and sleep the whole night but I usually don’t have time for that.

Male, 12 hours. I usually sleep for 8 hours at night, and always take a 4 hour nap during the day.

^ 12 hours a day seems very excessive. That’s also wasting literally half your day sleeping

5-6 weekdays

I don’t feel well rested without 12 hours. During the summer I usually try to sleep from 10 to 10 or 9 to 9. Are you really doing anything so productive in that time that it’d be time wasted?

No but I’d rather live in the illusion of productivity than waste away in a bed.

“I don’t feel well rested without 12 hours. During the summer I usually try to sleep from 10 to 10 or 9 to 9. Are you really doing anything so productive in that time that it’d be time wasted?”

Then how can you possibly function with 3?

I’d say I usually feel pretty well rested with 9, though I can literally sleep 15 and 16 hours a day if I don’t have anything I need to do. And I mean sustained 15 and 16 hours a day over weeks.

Hi, I’m female 19 and a freshman of college, my life is regular;after school I do homework, assignment and chat with friends on facebook and msn And go to bed at around 11 and get up at 7, so, basically, I sleep 9 hours But during weekends and holidays I wake up at 12 as I’m hungy LOL hope it helps your search :)

I’m a girl and I get at least 6 hours of sleep on average.
It’s best to have full sleep.

male - get 6 hours. In freshmans about 4 hours :-)

To be fair its on you…you dictate how busy you want to be!

"“I don’t feel well rested without 12 hours. During the summer I usually try to sleep from 10 to 10 or 9 to 9. Are you really doing anything so productive in that time that it’d be time wasted?”

I feel like **** and I am constantly sick. But I quit my internship on Sunday so hopefully now I can sleep. I fell asleep yesterday at 6pm and still slept through my alarm at 8:30am and fell asleep during a study group at 5. I guess it will take a while to catch up. But even when I am sleeping well and have for a few months, 6-8 hours aren’t enough, I sleep through my alarm and feel like ****. I need 12. 10 minimum.

How can you possibly get anything done if you sleep 12 hours every day?

^ I repeat: “During the summer I usually try to sleep from 10 to 10 or 9 to 9. Are you really doing anything so productive in that time that it’d be time wasted?”

I’m a lot more productive that way than when I don’t get enough sleep. If I only get 6-7 hours of sleep I pass out midday or can’t drive without nodding off. I just need more than that.
