An 800 on the Math section?

<p>So I was wondering do you need a perfect raw score to get an 800 on the Math section. I ask this because I left the of the grid-in blank.</p>

<p>Yeah…varies from test to test but its possible to get one wrong and still get an 800</p>

<p>Usually you need everything correct to get an 800, but every now and then the curve allows you to get 1 wrong.</p>

<p>If you’re referring to the May one, there is no chance a -1 will be 800.</p>

<p>-1 760? I doubt it, that would be really harsh. It would dip down to 770 at most.

<p>When I took the SAT (March '10), -1 was a 770. It happens on particularly harsh curves, but I think normally -1 is 790 for the normal curving.</p>

do you think the may SAT Math -1 will be 770 too?
ppl say it’s hard but i don’t think it was
i wish it was a lenient curve
do you think maybe it will be 780?</p>

that’s pretty normal
an “extremely” harsh curve would give you 730 or even 720 for that
-2 is usually 740
and -1 770</p>
