How often - 1 on math means 800 ?

Do u have any idea ? I dont want to get this moronic score of 780 of 790 just because I misread 1 question ?

Lol I am very empathetic to your plight CR because the same thing happened to me. However, rarely does the Math scale let you miss one and still get an 800. Has it happened before? Sure, however on this test, which was much easier than normal in math, I sincerely doubt it will happen. However, there is hope that a -1 will be a 790.

Good Luck,
Robbie

Yeah I think -1 will be a 790.

Probably  Ok I just hope I didnt miss any more ;)

The consensus was last May’s Math wasn’t that hard, but there was still a -1 800 curve for Math

It’s happened before:

http://www.erikthered.com/tutor/SAT-Released-Test-Curves.pdf

Definitely possible, and I’m hoping for a nice curve also for my own sake! I’m hoping -2 will be 770… Just being optimistic…

EDIT: That’s if I didn’t make any other silly mistakes!

Really? Did people say the May SAT math was easy?

CR7 was talking about the international exam not the states one. The math sections are completely different. (Hell. The whole exam is different). Some of you may be referring that the state one was easy, but the international one may have been harder. The curve may be different.
