I haven’t heard anyone from China got directly admitted, and I was told that it is impossible to transfer to CS in the future.
Is it IMPOSSIBLE to transfer to CS in the future? Or there is still a small chance?

Somewhere on the cs website mentions the department will reserve rougly 100 spots for internal transfer. Not impossible, but certainly competitive. I actually know a few people who got directly admitted into cs from China. All of them with insane stats and extracurriculars.
