I took an sat test on DEC 3, 2011 and my score was not released yet.

Now it is almost two months after the test day.

I talked to the college board to know what the problem is, and they said that I have more than 200 points increasing in the critical reading section.

In fact in the previous test I did not do anything on the critical reading section ( I guessed all the questions I answered ) . I got the worst score ever. but on the DEC one I did my best in order to increase my score.

The problem is that the universities I applied to have deadlines. and I might lose my admission as a result of this delay.

Also the college board might cancel my score if it has a concern about it.

have you experienced score cancellation before?

Does the college board have the right to cancel my score without a reason?

They can’t cancel your scores unless they have proof that you were cheating or violating collegeboard agreement with test takers. From your case, I believe you to have done neither.

If you’re worried, e-mail the college admission office and explain to them that you’re having “technical difficulties” with collegeboard. Then follow up with an official score report ASAP.

It seemed good news in the beginning but it has become a big problem for me.

I hoped I did not do well in the reading section.

I asked them to cancel my CR score and release the math and the writing scores with a letter to the institutions I applied to that explains the cancellation reason, but that does not work with them.

College Board you lead me to death.

BTW, thank you guys. I really hope they will release it tomorrow.

today, I talked to the college board and found that my score would not be released.

The college board scoring department agent told me that my score would not be released. when I said " was it cancelled?", he said no it was not cancelled but it will not be released.

maybe there is a difference between “will not be released” & “It was cancelled” in the college board system. But I understood that it was cancelled.

What can I do guys? It is the worst day in my life. I even cannot believe that is true.

he said that the college board thinks that I communicated with someone else during the test.

When I asked him for a proof, he said we do not need to prove it. Your mistakes are similar to another test taker’s mistakes who was sitting next to you.

I do not know if that person was cheating from me and made me this problem.

Please guys any suggestions. I will do whatever to get my score back.

Please do not have a bad picture of me. Do not think that I cheated in the test. Why would I cheat in a section that is not important for me (CR). Most of the universities I applied to do not require high score in the CR, some of them even do not assess me on the CR score at all.

I have a scholarship that I might lose because of what they did.

I need to get admitted at one of the best universities I applied to to keep my scholarship in safe.

please please please tell me if you have any idea. If you know a lawyer who is an expert in this kind of issues please send his/her number or email , I would do whatever it takes to get my score.

This is not a game as this stupid collegeboard thinks, this is human’s future.

There only one thing I do not understand. Why the collegeboad is totally not afraid of what can happen. I think we are in the U.S where everyone can take his/her right.

Usually companies provide people with the best service they may have and they do not do anything that hurts their customers unless they are 100 % sure of what they do.

The collegeboard does not have any proof that I cheated during the test. Why would it do that and cancel my score?
is there anything written there in the terms and conditions that the test-taker’s score can be cancelled when the collegeboard decides that without a logical reason?
