An unorthodox method to a higher cr score

I'm taking the sats In march and Im going to try a little different technique, the long forgotten art of reading! This means reading a LOT. In my journey I plan to read 1. 5-10 classics and journal entries ( scientific American, time , etc) if I still have time after all this I'm going to read historical books ( for examples on my essay) I'll keep you guys updated of what books I read if you keep me updated!
Current book: the picture of Dorian Gray - Oscar Wilde

For a few months, I read articles from the Time, Forbes, CNN and Financial Times websites + a few short books like Hunger Games and Catching fire + I memorized Direct Hits and The Essential 300 words. After all that I noticed an improvement. I used to get 12/24 correct answers in the 24 question section. Now I get like 20-22 correct answers. My main problem is with vocab and dual passages.

I always thought doing practice tests helped more if you knew how to analyze your wrong answers. I personally didn’t have the time to read a bunch of classics, so good for you for trying to. However, I don’t really see how this would help you other than improve your vocabulary. The way I (and I believe most people) did my CR reading questions was to just skim over the questions to get the line numbers and only read the entire paragraph when it was absolutely necessary.
