Ananya Roy class open to undergrad freshman?

Is her class, Global Poverty: Challenges and Hopes in the New Millennium, available for incoming freshman? I'm really interested in her work and would love to take this class.

I took her course ED100 (The City: Theories and Methods in Urban Studies) second semester of freshmen year… it was an unfortunate mistake because all professors and courses after her did not and could not measure up! She’s awesome.

Just looking at her Global Poverty class, there does not appear to be any class level restrictions. (In contrast, if you look at her urbanization class on the schedules website, you will see that spots are reserved for Urban Studies majors and Juniors/Seniors, with open spots for students of at least Sophomore standing.) Right now there is a hefty waiting list but available seats, meaning the remaining spots will be manually processed. If you are really interested in her class, I recommend speaking with her before the first class meeting or contact her by email; this will help ensure you secure a place in her class by getting your name out there.
