And now we wait.

That’s actually a mature and responsible way to view admissions, notajingoist. Many of us will not be accepted to Yale, but just having the oppurtunity to apply (and utilizing it) is an accomplishment in and of itself. Everyone should do as I do and never read over the applications again. After spending months of our senior year on college applications it is now out of our hands, and constantly scrutinizing your own work will amount to nothing in the ultimate decisions process. Wash your hands of this stress, relax, and move on. The fact you applied to Yale with at least some chance of admittance means you will most likely do well in your future endeavors.

Haha. I’m reading these and wanting to feel the same way, but I still have four essays to write before 11:59 pm. Aie. At least I don’t have to worry about Yale anymore.

Yeah I still have several essays to write too. But I’m more content now because these schools are some of the lower schools on my list so I won’t be so devastated if I miss the deadline. haha

1st Jan -------> 1st Feb = 1st Month
1st Feb -------> 1st Mar = 2nd Month
1st Mar -------> 1st Apr = 3rd Month

How is this confusing?? :D

Because April 1, from 12:00 am to 5:00 pm, feels like an entire month? :confused:
I think it will…

LOL WedgeDawg, I feel like a complete moron, you were right, and I’m glad you’re right, because 3 months feels SO much shorter :)

It’s still gonna be the longest three months of our 17 (18?) year old lives. We should all be frozen in carbonite and thawed on March 31st

^yes. But I think they would revoke your admission if you missed 3 months of school.

If you applied regular and haven’t gotten the email yet, you might not know this, but the date is actually March 30 (same for all Ivies?).

I thought i recalled Harvard being on April fools day last year?

^it is usually April 1, but some of them have mentioned the march 30 notification date

Now that college applications are done, I begin the scholarship applications. Hopefully this keeps me busy and takes my mind off colleges.

Who came up with April Fool’s Day as the standard notification date anyway?

^nice user name :P

How much weight is put on the short answer q’s? I REALLY liked mine and I think they stand out but they are so short. Hence, I have no idea how much weight is put on them.

Tulowitzki, I SAY THIS ALL THE TIME. What a horrible idea.

pkm, I haven’t gotten the e-mail yet. When did you submit your application?

Even after all the college applications are submitted, there are still more applications to do. On to the FAFSA!

I kinda like the idea of decisions coming out on April fool’s day…more light-hearted in my opinion :P.

^ Yup XD xD

Oh dear, the FAFSA. Out of everything college-admissions related, that is what I am most clueless about.
