RD to Rose Hill International Political Economy major

Oasis is the student account system. You can track grades, email profs, check financial aid status, sign up for classes (after your first semester -freshman year. First semester they pick the courses for you based on information you provide about preferences and their view of your strengths and weaknesses and intended major) etc. Its for accepted students.

No. There is no way to track it. If you are missing something, they will tell you. But its also up to you to ensure that your stuff has all been sent. Don't bug them about that. Only call if you have a substantial question.

Giggitus: The IPE major is awesome. Its VERY rigorous. You will work your hiney off. Strap in!

I'm a part of this waiting game too. I applied to the lincoln center campus, stating my major will be political science. I just realized that polisci is only offered at rosehill, but I marked that I'd be open to going to rosehill. I'll be okay right?! Thanks again and let's all hope for good news on the 15th.

You will be fine if that is your serious major. Your question should be addressed to Admissions. Call them tomorrow and ask. If they say its only offered at Rose Hill (many majors are offered at both campuses) then ask to be admitted to Rose Hill. Do that NOW. But only if you are certain its your thing. Good luck.

Is it the 15th or the 25th

VSkills- I was wondering the same thing. I have a few friends who applied EA as well (though they applied LC and I applied RH, if it makes a difference) that seem to think it's the 15th, but I thought it was closer to the 25th? They seem to be counting down to the 15th and it's making me uneasy!

Also, decisions are done by mail, correct?

""I applied to the lincoln center campus, stating my major will be political science. I just realized that polisci is only offered at rosehill, but I marked that I'd be open to going to rosehill. I'll be okay right?!""

Political science is offered at both the LC & RH campuses.

Thank you so much for that lifesaving fact, FordhamAlum! And like mp153 said, I'm wondering if they notify by email or by snail mail...lets hope its the first rather than the latter

The letter my D got said they would notify by mail, only by mail. Somewhere I recall reading we would know by the 25th, but when we went there for Open House in October, they said they mail out the acceptance letters on Dec. 16th. If that is true, I'm expecting the letter the 17th or 18th, depending on how long it takes the mail to arrive!

Then us california kids will be waiting a loooong time. I'm gonna cry.

They let us know the traditional way: through snail mail. A part of me thinks that's kind of cool, because then we'll get to have that whole "open-the-mailbox" surprise, but then again, the part of me raised in 2008 would love to just log in somewhere and see the decision first :).

And I read somewhere that decisions begin mailing on 15th, which is a Monday, and will be here by the 25th, which is that next Thursday. So we have around 3 wks left! I'm counting it down...

OMG OMG OMG OMG I can't do this anymore. I need to know NOW!!!

Where else did everyone apply to?

I applied to Lehigh, Fordham, and Bentley

Next week cannot come soon enough!

I hope I'm one of the lucky 7,777 EA applicants.

EA statistics on theramonline.com.

I applied to a lot of other schools, mostly on the East Coast.

And I can't believe that next week we'll know whether or not we've been admitted to Fordham. I can't wait, but I'm so nervous! I keep thinking of how I could have made my application stronger. Only 2 wks left!

I'll probably get my decision on the 16th or 17th, living just a few hours from NYC. I wish they just sent them out now if they already have the decisions made.

About a wk or less to go!

How's everyone feeling?

Has anyone called to see if they've sent the letters out yet?

I'm pretty sure they aren't mailing until the fifteenth. I'm expecting my letter on the seventeenth or eighteenth, because it generally takes 2-3 days for something to get here from NY. I am SO worried, but also calm. I just wish they didn't do the whole big envelope/little envelope thing, because if I have a little envelope, I don't know if I'll even be able to open it!

Do you know if we can call in to find out or if they email us? I applied to Lincoln Center and I'M SO RIDICULOUSLY NERVOUS
