<p>Well at least one out of five accepted me and its not a bad school at all. Still, I hoped at least 2 would accept me. </p>
<p>Waitlisted. From what I’ve read, it’s as good a rejected, as they didn’t take any off the waitlist this past year. Pretty frustrating. Oh well.</p>
<p>@prepdreams since andover has really high yield rate i think you would be better off to move on and choose schools that chose you. Good luck guys. </p>

<p>Creamcheesecake and lemonypies - I feel your pain. My child went through the same thing last year. After a week or so, we realized that what happened was actually a good thing in the long run - it just came wrapped up in a lot of crappy news. Decided to give it a go this year and had much better results. I say this not to diminish what you are feeling but just to let you know that it happens to a lot of people, including wonderful, talented individuals that would bring a lot to any school. I feel awful for you guys, but I’m hoping that just like for my child, it’s a temporary bump in the road followed by huge successes and accomplishments. </p>

<p>I was rejected at Andover and the other school I replied to. In very clear terms. </p>
<p>I got a reject. But to me that’s a positive because if I got accepted, my parents would have made me go to Andover when I’d rather go to L’ville. </p>
