Wow Andover is spectacularrr. This is to those who did not go to the Andover revisit and is considering it. First impression was it was friggen huge but when I got in the kempler auditorium and met my student host later on it felt like right at home. I first had english class with this person whose sister is a famous actress (I cannot disclose) and we became friends. The most interesting thing about this english class was that grades were not based on tests or quizzes it was based on how well you discuss the topic. It is a bit like the harkness method but a bit more lax and you can also eat breakfast while you're at it! Next was math class. A very intriguing class with a enthusiastic teacher; he gave us a team quiz which my shadow and i worked on and im pretty sure we got a 100 (:.

Soon after we went to the new commons... IT WAS FRIGGEN AMAZINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

The new commons is simply astounding; two levels of high quality food and it literally looked like a five star restaurant. I defintely will have a great time there (:

My last class was this class called proof and pursusasion, a philosophy class and it was the most unique class I've ever witnessed. I would definitely recommend you taking this class because it is so abstract and gets ur mind thinking. The teacher asked us "what is the meaning of a word?" And we went into this different dimension of thinking about " what is a word"

So that was what my revisit day was like. It was basically a summary because lots more happened (: Hope you enjoyed it

As a parent who went to revisit last year, I am so happy to hear that you liked it because I think it’s even better for the parents, who get a really good overview of Andover while the kids are in classes. Panels of teachers and administrators present on all aspects of school and boarding life. We came away from it totally wowed (frankly more so than our daughter!). A parent I know who attended revisit a couple of years ago went again yesterday for a second child, and described it as “inspiring.” I’m sure that Paresky Commons will be even nicer when they get the bugs out of the fire alarm system, but my daughter is loving it.

My daughter is a senior at Andover and is extremely happy with her choice. The students and staff are generally very friendly and helpful. While it won’t always be like revisit day (as with every school they were putting on their best public face) and even the relatively good food and atmosphere in the Commons will sometimes be tiresome, you can expect, and should demand, a wide range of academic and social opportunities that will make it a special experience.

ranging from beautiful/traditional campus to phenomenal teachers to real fresh air, it seemed like a perfect fit for me.

what i really liked about andover was the new renovated dining hall.
the marble stairs, amazing wood work, and delicious food!
I personally loved the fact that there were asian food, and it was really great!

Didnt you guys also love those hotdogs upstairs??

and andover really has fresh air. if you walk around the campus, you know your lungs are filled with oxygen!

also really loved that traditional wood floor which wore off over time. very classy and traditional.
