This is similar to jasminexx's post, only exclusive to Andover.

What is it really like? Are the dances fun, is the workload too intense, is it cliquey, is it strict, what do people do on the weekends, etc.?

Oh, also, I've been wondering... Do people really discuss politics and foreign affairs at the dinner table?

haha politics and political affairs, it sounds like my average dinner. My family is sooo politically divided.

Dude, its all exaggerated. Most dinner convo’s are like what you’d have at any school.

sept you dont have dinner convos at any other school

And how do you know what other school dinner conversations are like?

I meant MEAL CONVOS in general, and if you want to apply it to other boarding schools fine. YOu can even compare to just oyu and your friends going out to dinner, its no different.

This idea that at Andover you will have your mind BLOWN every day and eat dinner with your teachers and talk physics and discuss economics with your friends till 4 AM in the morning for fun is absurd. It’s way exaggerated.

I guess the conversations during lunch are very similar to the ones you have at home or at your regular school - just more sophisticated.
(:
Why not talk about politics or calculus during dinner? You never know, those topics can be very interesting.
