**Question About Andover Admissions... Please Read!!**

<p>I am currently traveling right now, so I'm not able to hear whether I got into Andover or not at the moment because apparently Andover only sends decisions out by mail. However, I received an email saying:</p>

<p>To anyone who applied to Andover, do you have any idea whether this goes out to everybody who applied, just waitlisted/accepted kids, or just accepted kids? Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I am freaking out over here trying to find out if I got in or what! </p>

<p>My guess is that it would only go out to accepted applicants . . . that’s the only thing that makes sense.</p>

<p>But before you go crazy trying to figure it out, send an email to the school, explain that you’re traveling and not able to receive mail, and see if they won’t tell you your decision.</p>

<p>I emailed Andover but they haven’t replied yet… I assume they’re really busy. Maybe they won’t reply until March 15th… That was the date they gave for when you can contact the school and ask about Admissions, so I’ll keep my fingers crossed and attend the webcast! :)</p>

<p>I suspect you’re in, because most wait list notifications express regret at not being able to offer a spot until some ambiguous time in the future – maybe.</p>

<p>Yes, that is the acceptance email from the school. We received the same last year. My daughter is a junor at Phillips Academy at Andover.</p>

<p>I got in and got the same message. I know for a fact that is only for admitted students. Congrats</p>
