"Angry students whose ACT scores aren't online yet" CREW. Show of hands?

gawd, i seriously am frustrated with ACT. i called them and the guy told me that they hadn't even begun grading mine yet! and here i was thinking that all they had to do was input them into the computer.

for the people in the same boat:

check back online on the 17th, 22nd, and 24th. they update every wednesday and friday.

i better get them before the 28th, i plan to submit my UC apps that day after i find out my Nov 4th SAT scores.

pretty much have a identical situation

raises hand
I'm way irritated.
I really really hope mine are updated tomorrow!

raises hand
SAME SITUATION HERE! UGGHH.

hey i have a q: what does it mean that they did not have any "registrations? of me taking the act on the oct 28 as I was trying to view my scores? crap, i hope that they didn't forget to score my test?

here's the exact message:

We do not find a Registration record for the national administration you selected. To verify Registration, please contact our customer service representatives at ACT Registration: 319/337-1270 (8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. central time Monday through Friday).

Your match ID varies from test to test, so you have to use the one corresponding to the test date you want to view. That's what happened to me

but i used my social sec. #...
maybe i'll try it tomorrow?

no luck today.
FRIDAY...i hope i hope i hope...

same here. :(

nicesocks, that message means they don't think you even registered for the test.

you should call them ASAP.

socks, are you sure you used your SSN for the October test? Are you sure you registered for October? Did you test standby? Are you entering just your SSN and not your match ID? (Try each separately, if you have your match ID, but not both.)

If you call them, be sure to let us know what you find out.

Mrs. Ferguson- do you know how long scores are typically delayed when they are? I mean, can we reasonably expect to see them Friday? Next Wednesday? Later?

ACT says it can take up to seven weeks (or around that) to get your scores, but that seems very, very rare. Most scores that are delayed at all seem to become available very soon. I would guess that most scores that aren't available yet will be within a week. The most common reasons scores are delayed are probably very small problems, like you switched two digits of your match ID, and just require a human being to look at your information. That shouldn't take long for each person, so a lot of scores should come out on Friday, but there are probably a lot of them to do, so a lot will come out a little later, too.

The only kind of score delay that you can do anything about is if you owe money. If any of the following are true, you should call ACT because you probably need to pay them:
- Test date change: You registered for a different test date but tested in October.
- Test center change: You tested at a different test center from the one you were assigned to
- Test option change: You took the writing test, but didn't register for and pay for it
- You ordered additional score reports for a previous test date, asked to be billed, and didn't pay them; or your credit card was rejected

i don't think anyone has gotten their scores yet. (TELL ME IF YOU HAVE) when i tried to view the early scores, it said that they apologized for the delay and that it take a couple more days. (or weeks !!!)

Thanks, Mrs. Ferguson. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for tomorrow!

yes, i have signed up for the oct. test and i was not on stand by. i did use my ssn as i signed up for the act on oct; i did insert my digits separately. AND i have called their number but it's...busy :\ is that even possible for the ACT company? i'll try again and inform you guys.

ok, i got it now. lol gosh, i feel ignorant now. i called the act operator and she told me that i didn't use my ssn when i signed up for the oct act. i was grateful that she provided me my match-#, yay! :D

yeah, i havent gotten mine yet, so i signed up for the december act just in case and paid that crazy late fee lol...grr.
i'll be crossing my fingers for tomorrow!

i'm seriously going to be MAD if i don't get my scores tomorrow. i have apps to do that i need my scores for. :(
