<p>Anyone in or going to major in animal science? Is it really as great as the school says it is? What can you possibly do after with it, besides continuing on to be a vet? I’m deciding whether to pursue this or go to another school where I have the freedom to choose a major. However, I am almost certain that whatever career I do will involve animals.</p>
<p>I was accepted to SLO about a month ago yet im still waiting to hear back from Pomona so it looks like ill be attending SLO. I’m an Animal Science major too, ive been to area before its very beautiful & open unlike LA but thats all i know. i have heard its expensive & hard to get into.</p>

you got into SLO and are waiting on Pomona too? I have 5 other friends that are on the same boat as us. all are also prevet. whats going on with cal poly Pomona? I heard that SLO is harder to get into but it doesn’t seem that way</p>
<p>ive always heard SLO was a hard school to get into, so when i found out i got in i figured Pomona was a locked, especially since Pomona gets veterans priority admission but i think its more about their system of doing things that is slower everything down.
i heard that Pomona is giving everyone an answer by 4/23 so we shall see tomorrow

Can’t wait to begin my adventures in Animal Science and eventually be an Exotic Vet.</p>

<p>side note ive heard bad things about mustand village but it looks like thats where ill be moving too. I can’t find any other place that will take my German Shep.
