Slightly? I'd say completely.

I know someone who named their kid after Ann Coulter.

^ that's borderline child abuse.

Coulter's biggest beef with liberals: they'd rather label her as an idiot or a nut than debate with her.

I'm sorry, but how the hell are you supposed to debate with someone who just spews off hateful personal attacks? How can any liberal begin to debate this: "We need to execute people like (John Walker Lindh) in order to physically intimidate liberals." ? She is genuinely intolerant.
It doesn't really bother me that she purposely says inflammatory crap to make money. What bothers me are the people who hang on to her every word like it's been been passed down to them from the hand of God and honestly think they have legitimate arguments against liberals/moderates/anyone not republican.

Slightly insane?

Anyone who thinks she deeply and sincerely believes everything she says is over analyzing her. She's managed to make millions of dollars by inciting controversy and showing some of her own views.

She also doesn't pretend to play middle-of-the-aisle like other politicians and political activists do. She knows where she stands, and isn't afraid to be public about it.

Most of the controversial things she said are SUPPOSED to be overdone. She's writer. I'm betting there's at least ONE bigoted statement, political or not, that everyone here would snicker at. That's all that most of her statements are meant to be. Some, however, ring fairly true, especially to us conservatives lol :P

Look, Ann Coulter is an intelligent woman, and she wants to be famous and make money. I doubt she believes half the crap that spews out of her mouth. Her opinions aren't truly Republican opinions, and some of the stuff she says would make her welcome at KKK meetings.

Family Guy and South Park are successful TV shows which draw in millions, but they often make offensive sexist/racist/political/cultural commentary. Do you get mad and throw your remote at Peter Griffin? No? Then don't take Ann Coulter seriously. I view her as a comedian rather than a legitimate political commentator.

Oh, and of course much of her commentary is valid - she has a B.A from Cornell and JD from UMich, she ain't stupid. She knows what she's doing.

If you think she's bad, listen to Rush Limbaugh.

^My hero lol. It's always fun listening to him on the radio. People will call in all the time, sounding like they've prepared for a few days and are ready to rip him a new one, and end up getting completely destroyed. Like Coulter, he's a T.V./radio personality.

He keeps me entertained :)

She is almost as bad as a hardcore liberal....

Fromthesouth!!!!!

next 4 years this is all we are going to hear, with all the cons having cobbs up their @$$es

Actually... he ****es me off... Worst animated show ever...

You disagree with Coulter, so you call her stupid. And then you disagree with me and call me stupid. Name-calling doesn't constitute meaningful discussion. And that's Coulter's biggest beef with liberals: they'd rather label her as an idiot or a nut than debate with her.

Why????

Well guess what, now you don't have an excuse for your beliefs meowmeow

^ You're an excuse for a human being. meowmeow(whatever the **** that means)

sry for interrupting this back-and-forth

personally, ann coulter is my hero. yeah, she's definitely a shock-jock but if you get past her more outrageous sayings her points are completely valid. She has to be outrageous for entertainment value. read one of her books though- all the way through; and you'll see that she's practiced in politics and knows her stuff. she is a force to be reckoned with; i like that she breaks the stereotype of the "wimpy republican."
