^I see what you're saying, but how can you take someone seriously after they've made comments like Ann Coulter has? When someone says the ridiculous stuff that she says, everything else is just null and void. This woman does not deserve to be taken seriously.
To support my point here are some fun quotes from Ann:

"Canadians better hope the United States does not roll over one night and crush them. They are lucky we allow them to exist on the same continent."

"I think there should be a literacy test and a poll tax for people to vote."

"It would be a much better country if women did not vote. That is simply a fact. In fact, in every presidential election since 1950 - except Goldwater in '64 - the Republican would have won, if only the men had voted."

"I think women should be armed but should not vote...women have no capacity to understand how money is earned. They have a lot of ideas on how to spend it...it's always more money on education, more money on child care, more money on day care."

"These broads are millionaires, lionized on TV and in articles about them, reveling in their status as celebrities and stalked by grief-arazzis... These self-obsessed women seemed genuinely unaware that 9/11 was an attack on our nation and acted as if the terrorist attacks happened only to them... I’ve never seen people enjoying their husbands’ deaths so much."

"We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity." She is referring to Muslims.

"They're [Democrats] always accusing us of repressing their speech. I say let's do it. Let's repress them. Frankly, I'm not a big fan of the First Amendment."

Taken out of context or not, every single one of these quotes is ridiculous. Those are just some of my personal favorites.

why would she be your hero? plenty of crazy racist people say outrageous things, have you ever seen footage of frank collins, leader of the national socialist part of america?

"It would be a much better country if women did not vote. That is simply a fact. In fact, in every presidential election since 1950 - except Goldwater in '64 - the Republican would have won, if only the men had voted."

"I think women should be armed but should not vote...women have no capacity to understand how money is earned. They have a lot of ideas on how to spend it...it's always more money on education, more money on child care, more money on day care."

If I didn't already know the person behind these quotations, I would think it was a chauvinistic *******. But yeah, she's intelligent.

Wait, if women are too stupid to have political opinions and vote, then why does Ann Coulter feel she can? Does she have a ***** we don't know about?

What I don't understand is if she's so well versed in politics and offers so much in terms of discussion/debate, why does she feel the need to draw attention to herself with asinine statements like the ones posted? Wouldn't her political "brilliance" alone bring her enough money, fame, and attention?

On another note, I am saddened to find that the thread I created has brought ads of that Adam's apple possessing wench on this site. My apologies.

I have never believed that she has believe what she says (well obviously she’s a conservative, but not nearly to the extent as she portrays herself). To me, she obviously is just doing it for the money - hey, if you made millions of dollars + gained fans and influence spewing crap, wouldn’t you do it (shut up self-righteous people, you totally would)?

Listen: the second liberals stop getting ****ed at her, the second she loses influence on the national scale. What she says is designed to create controversy and to support her own views, though from a very exaggerated perspective. If we all just ignored her and just smiled and nodded, then she would barely have a job.

Ann Coulter is no farther on to the right than Michael Moore is on the left! It’s like when liberals b!tch about how biased Bill O’Rielly and FOX News are. Granted FOX News swings a fair amont to the right but seriously have they seen MSNBC? If you look at Keith Olbermann’s “Worst Person in the World” it is almost ALWAYS a Republican. Liberals and Conservatives BOTH have to learn to deal with the fact that there are spokespeople and news stations that push the ideas on BOTH SIDES. Rant Over.

PS for the record I’m a libertarian/“crunchy con”
