Annoyed, but does it matter?

So I thought I had my GPA for the end of my Freshman year... and I had gotten happy with it. However when I requested my transcript for a scholarship... the copy I got was a lot different and I'm a bit mad. Does the change really matter?
(We don't rank, so that's not what I'm worried about) They said my Algebra II grade was a 94.... but they are now telling me it's a 90. Geometry was supposed to be a middle school class... but now it's not. AP Art history was supposed to be listed once, but for some reason had to be listed twice.... and then averaged

From my transcript:

Geometry 97 4w/4un
Algebra II-S 90 3.25w/3.25un
AP Art History 94 2.85w/1.875un *
Pre-cal Honors 99 5w/4un
AP Art History 94 2.85w/1.875un*
Applications of Science (H) 96 5w/4un
Engineering (H) 95 4.870w 3.875
English I (H) 98 5w/4un
Writing (H) 95 4.875w/3.875un

*These are apparently added together... each listing of APAH is .5 credits.

Weighted GPA: 4.75 (our scale)
Unweighted: 3.86 (our scale)

So my GPA went from 4.9 to a 4.75 and I know have one B... does this matter?

Jesus Christ... You sir, will surely die early at this rate.

Deep breaths. geez...no, it doesn't matter. HYPSM aren't going to reject you in 3 years solely because your freshman GPA was 4.75 weighted instead of 4.9 weighted. *sigh. I can't believe the audacity of people to ask these preposterous questions on CC sometimes...your lowest grade is a 90, for goodness sakes. If it is not good enough for you, you still have 2 more years before it matters in the college admissions process. Let it go

It doesn't matter. They rework it to their scale anyways, get rid of the pluses and minuses. Therefore, that 90 (A-) and 94 (A) are the same.

You are going to have a VERY long three more years of school if you're already freaking out. Seriously, get off of here and come back after sophomore year.

Jesus Christ......omg.......omg......

Go out and see a movie or something. Seriously, you're a freshman, don't worry about college...

Well technically I'm a sophomore now. :)

I think I'm just mad I have to wait like an hour every time I ask for my transcript (several days in advance) because there are always so many errors.

Oh.... and I'm still kicking myself because I got a 90 in Algebra II because I was lazy and ended up doing the entire course in 3 days.... the last 3 days of the course. (It was online)

I'm mad because I didn't do my best.

Anyway... I guess take 4/3 the course load of everyone else in my school might make up for it.

those are still pretty good grades so....

shut up

10 char

wow I hate posts like this. something like: "Im a freshman and my gpa is only a 3.899997 instead of a 3.9 HELP!"

ok so that was a little exaggerated but still you know what mean.

lol aigiqinf you are only a freshman. some colleges don't even really care about freshman grades. no that ur grades are bad. A 90 OH NO! So don't worry you'll get through life. I promise

i would question it. personally, this could just be because your admin is REALLY stupid. Trust me-my grades have gotten switched with the people before and after me in the alphabet MANY times....

Omg look at his stats profile he has a billion extracurriculars.

okay... so it doesn't really matter. I'll stop beat myself up about it... maybe I'll take the hiatus advice too... (I'd certainly like to go see a movie.)

Well, if you can believe it I was the only person in Algebra II. I think that the 94 was the final and not the final grade. (I saw the online sheet, but I didn't understand it. A 90 was listed and so was a 94...) Thanks however, because if I hadn't been then that would have been a real concern of mine. I typical spend at least an hour when I get my transcript getting weighting etc. related. There's still an error on it, but it really doesn't matter.

That's actually not an updated list. I'll have to do that sometime soon... I read something the other day and I've been thinking... all my EC's pretty much say I can handle stress... but not much else. sigh

Maybe I'll just get over myself.... and not worry about it so much.

Thanks everyone.
