Wouldn’t they have sent an email to tell us if they changed the date? Hopefully they come out tomorrow, I want to know already!
Did anyone get an acceptance email today? I didn’t receive one and it’s making me so nervous. Do we know the exact date if they do send the acceptances out in May?

Just out of curiosity, what were your projects about?
My project was aimed at helping to encourage physical fitness through a mentorship program. I started a hiking club at my school and I take part in a mentoring program for girls, so I decided to combine those two to build a future of healthy and confident women.
My project would be like a tutoring program to help kids learning English as a second language with homework since there’s a large Spanish-speaking community where I live, including a lot of kids who only speak Spanish or their parents don’t know English so it’s hard for them to help with reading and English homework
So just to confirm it, I emailed them yesterday and I got a response saying that “due to an unprecedented number of applications”, we would be notified of decisions the first week of May
I was accepted!!

@JulianaK Yup, they sent an email. And remember that you can still do your project this year! I started my project this year even after they rejected me and I think it really helped to show them that I had the initiative to start it on my own.
@JulianaK Yes! They sent the email at around 8:00 AM for me. Definitely try again next year

@ironsweater I didn’t know they did that last year, but now I have my fingers crossed!
Congrats to those who were accepted! Are today just the first batches or will there be more people accepted? I feel like my chances are pretty slim since it’s so competitive, but whatever, I can’t do anything about it now than just wait!
@ThatCaliGirl @kitkat231 Congrats! I bet your projects were great to have gotten accepted into such a prestigious camp. I was wondering if your GPA above a 4.0? You don’t have to answer me if you don’t feel comfortable sharing! I am just wondering if that was one of the ways they sort through the applicants.
