Guys I have another theory!
If you look at past fellows, there’s a large amount of diversity in they projects. A lot of different areas they worked in. It seems like Vital Voices might make an effort to have a range of different ideas-they almost definitely do. What they might do is put applications in to different categories-disability advocacy, teaching, STEM, child advocacy, etc. Then, they may look at applications by category so they have fellows from each area. Those who were accepted might be from one category, but Vital Voices may not have finished with the others. Also, you could be in the accepted category but haven’t heard yet, as they might fill a person/a couple of people to each category, then go back and take extras if they like you. Just a theory.
