Another ? about double majors

Hi everyone! I just joined the forum because I have a few questions regarding double majors. I tried to read as many topics as I could before I posted so hopefully this exact question wasn't asked.

I am currently studying accounting with the goal of obtaining my CPA. I found out today that I have enough room to double major either in Finance or Information Systems. My question is, would a double major is Accounting and Information Systems be more effective than doubling majoring with Finance? I eventually want to get an MBA with a concentration in Finance but that is several years down the road after I get my MACC and have actual work experience.

Accounting is my passion but I also want to work my way through the accounting ranks to upper-level management in a finance department before I am too old ;).

I understand that a Masters Degree in some field is more prominent than any undergraduate work, but I was still curious about peoples' opinions.

Thanks for your time!

Information Systems doesn’t seem very useful, especially since it’s not what you want a job in and by the time you get an MBA you can apply some finance and the IS knowledge will likely be dated.
