Al Gore, '69

He made it. Hey, I just learned in a college guidebook that Gore was a Harvard roommate of Tommy Lee Jones. Had you heard that before?

Yes, I have seen Tommy Lee Jones talk about having Al Gore as a roommate on numerous TV interviews. What an interesting pair to be roomies.

haha, actually that's a common misconception. At Harvard they give you a list of all the previous occupants of your suite when you get in freshman week. I lived in Mower A-11, where Tommy Lee Jones resided during his freshman year (according to Harvard records). Al Gore lived across the hall in A-12. The rooms are not connected, so they weren't roommates. Mower, however, is set up so there's only two rooms per floor, and you get VERY close with your floormates, so many people refer to them as their roommates to avoid having to explain it all.

Yeah. They lived across from each other in Mower, but then became roommates for the remaining three years in Dunster House. And yeah -- Mower is tiny. I was in a dorm completely uncharacteristic of Mower/Lionel, which was Canaday!

H-bomber- my twin brother actually lived in Mower A-11 too!

And now we both live in Kirkland. (I'm pretty sure you're not him, though...) You're a junior or senior, right?

haha wouldn't that be funny if you guys were twins

yea, i'm a junior
