Another Asian guy trying to get somewhere

Hmm... ClaudeDebussy, you seem like the little effer here, so I'm not going to respond to b*tching like that.

But other responses...Grocks- I said I liked church and I liked science. The thing is, I really think of religion as a personal expressions of my faith- the Catholic church might give some guidelines, but that doesn't mean that I necessarily follow all of them. I mean, I definitely believe in evolution as opposed to the Adam and Eve literal interpretation- but then again, Catholics are suppose to be able to read the Bible and "loosely interpret", as in not take it word for word as literal truth.

Oh, and thanks for the commentary on my chances onf the colleges. I appreciate them, and hope they continue.

^^ agreed. science cannot disprove God's existence, and religion cant argue against hard evidence.

well i dont know about you, but the only way angryazn is going to get into college is if god himself said he will.... i know alot of chemists and scientists, and they belive in god because they figure complex things like humans could have been left up to chance....

"the only way angryazn is going to get into college is if god himself said he will..."

Your right... kind of like how Bush got the religous vote

"Hard, Brutal, Fact one: u will never be rich, so stop trying."

Your trying to get into IVY leagues right? What do you expect him to do? go out and help non-profits after he gets into one?

Sure there are some great comunity leaders out there that graduated from ivys, but all of them have failed majorly at trying to GET RICH.

Unless your doing bio because you want to cure cancer, or just like science, then what the hey, go to an IVY. But I guess it's more of like doing something you love most but also getting the most $$$ out of it.

Most people just get rich, retire, and go to hell for all the Business sins you've done. ( is this you?)

thats because bush is destined to become the man who will destroy his name and honor the greatest... just give it time

hey... i intend to go into the Peace Corps after i graduate for a couple of years
then go do my thing
buti am not doing it to get rich... just earn a COMFORTABLE(haha) living

explain why my high school bio teacher is a columbia PhD, my high school math teacher last year graduated from princeton, and why my high school french teacher is a stanford grad. (and my last years high school history teacher is a retired rich businessman)

and my chem teacher got his master's from U. Penn and he is still teaching...

I'd like to just be comfortable and spend my retirement volunteering. That doesn't mean I want to end up rolling in dough; I do want to make sure that I have enough.

I'm sure that there are plenty of teachers out there from the Ivies, though I'm sure they're in higher demand. It's not like going Ivy single-handedly changes career choices, and those who want to teach later on come out exceptionally well-educated educators.

going to HYPSM basically lets you do whatever you want with your life. whether or not the $$ is important is up to you.

"explain why my high school bio teacher is a columbia PhD, my high school math teacher last year graduated from princeton, and why my high school french teacher is a stanford grad. (and my last years high school history teacher is a retired rich businessman)"

hmm, don't know... thier bored ?

no... they were at the bottom of the class and barely graduated, and now, they barley know what they are doing, thats why you dont learn much in school... failed teachers teach failures... hehe

and i can barley spel, so it doesnt matter
