I don't know if you would know the answer to this, but I figured as a student you might. I am applying as a junior transfer for the fall.
I can't find stats for the schools online.
Do you know the difficulty associated with each college and the numbers they take in? Also, I am guessing that numbers might fluctuate because of the recession, and I believe I heard NYU lost some money with Madoff. Do you know anything about this?

Yeah NYU lost about 24 million with Madoff I believe, which is literally only about 1% of their 2.5 billion so it's not gunna cause any drastic changes.

No, NYU's stats are still pretty stable. Last year's application rate was 24%. ED applications actually increase this year

thanks for all the info!
2 things:
1) I have almost the exact same stats as you. Did you get any money? If so, how much is need-based and how much merit-based?
2) I have heard that it can be kind of hard to meet people; that you REALLY have to put yourself out there. Is this true?

thanks :)
