I would loved to be chanced. I go to a tough private school in Michigan. I have straight A's except for 1 A- in algebra 2 and 1 A+ in P.E. I scored a 2343 on the ssat. 800 math some high 700's on the other two. 99th percentile. I interviewed 40 minutes + at all schools except forexeter which was about 1 hour 10 minutes. My mom went to Andover.

The bad parts- My essays we pretty good (I was a bit rushed) could have been better. I don't know which one is my favorite yet. And I am white male.

So chance me for Andover, Exeter, Groton, Choate, and St. Pauls

you look like a great candidate! but you know there are tons of people who qualify to go to these schools but they just dont have all the spots. Are you applying for FA?

You seem like a perfect candidate. Then again I’m not an AO.
But your ECs and academics seem to be in good order, and if you think you did a solid job on your essays (because those are crucial in some schools), you’re set.

Actually that’s the first time I’ve ever heard of such a score. I usually dwell in the SAT forums, since I’ll be taking the SAT again soon; I’ve never seen or heard of anyone with scores ending in anything else that is not zero.

I would be VERY surprised if you get into none of these these schools. I would also be a bit surprised if you get into all of them. There is a certain amount of randomness in the admissions process. Also, some schools are hesitant about admitting students they think are unlikely to accept their offer.

In the case of Exeter, from what I’ve heard, they try to weight their admissions towards kids for whom an Exeter education might make a big difference in their life. If I were an AO looking at your application, I would see you as a candidate that will do well with or without an Exeter education.
