Another Financial Aid Question...

My family makes slightly less than 60k per year. Where do I fall in the financial aid bracket?

A full ride, unless your family has a lot of assets or something. Use an online calculator.

I doubt that you’ll get anything from financial aid. I live in a single parent home and she makes slightly less than 60k a year. I didn’t get anything from financial aid.

While the college will continue its commitment to provide free tuition and a no-loans expectation for students with family incomes of $75,000 a year or less, you wont get a “full ride” because there are both parent and student contributions in addition to work study.

Remember that there is a difference between a family who makes 60k in income and has no assets (other than primary residence), no stepparents, non-custodial parents, who do not own a business or farm than it is for a family who may have some of the mentioned above.

Run your numbers through a financial aid calculator to see where you stand
