<p>it is known that most colleges and universities require two years of foreign language in high school. Well, in 8th grade i took german 1 ( a high school course) and then in 9th grade i took german 2. I also passed both of them. when colleges say two years of foreign language will my situation here be acceptable. since german 1 is a high school course? thanks.</p>
<p>As long as you get "High School Credit" for the German 1 course, colleges will accept it. Colleges prefer 3 years of foreign language but 2 is the minimum for most.</p>
