Another Interview

awww this is horrible. apparently harvard wants to interview me again for “more information.” i’ve already had an on campus interview and a formal alumni interview. what more could they need? decisions are out next friday…and now im scheduled for another interview?!

does that mean im borderline? good sign? bad sign? what should i do and how should i approach it? thanks

good sign i'd say, your probably on the bubble which means you're better off than most.

sounds good to me, i wouldnt worry

What's your location / stats? It basically means they can't decide about you as yet, and want more information to make sure they get it right.

Are multiple interviews common-- since there are a lot of borderline candidates?

I'm from MA, so they dont have a hard time interviewing me. my stats are average (1550...700-800s SATIIs) Geez...i would definately rather NOT have this interview =/

Be happy!! That's a really good sign!

think about it, if you are even borderline for ED, then for RD when they look you over you will already be having a big leg up on the other candidates, at worst you will be waitlisted, but if they are taking time to give you 3 interviews, then that means that probably 90% of the adcom likes you and one person is insisting that you have one more interview to put you over the edge, good sign, good luck
