Hi and thanks in advance to whoever helps me out, but Im just gonna ask about mit admissions: everything i read about MIT make it out to be a formidable task of just getting in much less staying. But anyway, I would probably be classified as a mediocre student, above average, i have a 93 GPA and rank in the top 10% of my class, my EC's aren't bad, but as for sat and sat II scores, i don't know em. If i got in that would make my life, but ive just made some mistakes in high school. What with the GPA and EC's and all. My question is that would MIT accept me, even though i may not be as qualified as maybe half the applicants? Mainly how oriented are they on stats, then who the person is?

maybe...it really depends on you. can you impress them with recs, essays, interview, etc? from what i hear, they have great stats...but if you can really shine you still have a chance, even if it's not a very big chance.

thanks, i just didn't want a shot in the dark. But, i'm still gonna shoot anyway :)
