I looked on College Board's website for both AP Micro and AP Macro and they both had the same practice MC questions, but different FRQ questions.
Does this mean that on the actual AP exam - if I'm self-studying Macro - that I'll also have to learn Micro to answer the identical MC questions?

Buuuuuummp.

They don’t have the same MC questions.

Both micro and macro are in that, pg 11 has the micro sample questions and pg 28 has the macro sample questions.

Oh alright, thanks!

There actually is a bit of Micro in Macro, for the record.

So would you recommend I self study Micro before Macro? (I’m only going to be taking one of them next year)

Well, it’s only a very small portion of Micro that’s in Macro. It would be sliiightly advantageous to take micro first, but it really doesn’t matter which you take first.

I only did Macro, and the Macro section of my review book said “Even if you are only taking Macroeconomics, make you you review and understand the material in ‘Basic Concepts’ and ‘Supply in Demand’ sections of the microeconomics review.” It was pretty simple material.

Read through some of these if you want to see opinions:
