I just took a practice science test, got done in 27 minutes, got 40 out of 40 right.

If that wasn't bad enough, my "scaled score" was a 38.

God wouldn't that be nice.

McGraw- Hill just isn’t like the ACT at all. I understand that some companies make books for people in the low scoring range, but it’s not going to do anyone any good if they aren’t practicing with equivalent material that will really be on the ACT

Exactly. The questions were sup par at best.

yeah, they’re absolutely embarrassing… most of their reading passages have 75 words max, as opposed to the realistic 90-100

u mean lines lol

no i meant letters
good call ;)

Lol I was taking their practice tests 3-4 days before the ACT and after taking it, I started telling myself that I was the bomb and I was going to get a 36 guaranteed…
Then I hit a different book…and saw that I ran out of time on everything. Basically the McGraw Hill book gives you false conditions and it could mess up your chances if you stick to it.

stick with the red book from act

lol I haven’t even heard about this book before
