Hey, here is my tentative schedule, how does it look?
I'm an incoming fall freshmen.

Political Science 05 (4 units)
Rhetoric R1A (4 units)
Anthropology 3AC (4 units)
Political Science 179 (1 unit)
DeCal (1-2 units)

I was just looking at classes that looked interesting, not really looking at specific requirements.

Might help to specify the context of intended or possible majors and whether you have any AP credit.

Update:

Intended major, possibly Political Science/Economics

AP Credit: 4 on Composition/3 on US History/3 on World History/ 2 on Calculus BC
Still waiting on Lit., Comp. Sci., European History, Environmental Science
City college credit: Political Science 101 (A), Stats (A), Calculus AB Equivalent (A), Calculus BC Equivalent (B).

If you got a 4 on AP English (either one), you do not need to take R&C A and can take R&C B. If you got a 5 on AP English Literature, you do not need to take R&C A or R&C B (unless you are in the College of Engineering, in which case you still need to take R&C B). Note: Rhetoric R1A is an R&C A course.

If you took courses at a California community college, check the following to see which of your courses articulate to major requirements for your potential majors:

[UCB Economics](<a href=“Welcome to ASSIST”>Welcome to ASSIST)
[UCB Political Science](<a href=“Welcome to ASSIST”>Welcome to ASSIST)
[Majors at UCB](<a href=“Welcome to ASSIST”>Welcome to ASSIST)

You may want to try to take Economics 1 to see how interesting you find economics.

Thanks for the information, I changed R1A to R1B on my Academic Orientation page. I hope I got a 5 on AP Lit this year but I don’t know yet.
I was thinking of taking Econ 1 but I was debating taking it in Spring instead. I don’t know.

I don’t know exactly what this means but:
My Political Science transfers as “IGETC Area 4H/ Units 3, UC Area-B”
My Statistics class transfers as “IGETC Area 2A/Units 4, UC Area-M”
My Calc Class transfers as “IGETC Area 2A/Units 5, UC Area-M”
My second Calc Class transfers as “IGETC Area 2A/Units 5, UC-Area-M”

IGETC is only relevant to junior transfers; it is a means of fulfilling breadth requirements if the transfer-to school or division accepts it (at UCB, L&S accepted IGETC, but Engineering does not). For freshmen, you need to check course articulation to see which, if any, breadth requirement categories the specific courses fulfill.

What community college, and what specific course numbers? You want to look up the major prep links to see if those courses fulfill the major requirements for your intended majors.

Thank you for all your help! Does anyone else have any overall advice on my schedule?

If you are looking to fulfill L&S breadth requirements, take a look at the course lists here:

[Office of Undergraduate Advising: 7 Course Breadth](http://ls-advise.berkeley.edu/requirement/7breadth.html)

Just looking at the Spring 2011 Online Database and it seems like people are already registered for this upcoming Spring o.O

Someone please enlighten me…CS 39K, the seminar I want, only has 1 spot left according to the database…and Spring is about 10 months away…

Because you are looking at the Spring 2011 schedule (which is already over) and not Spring 2012 (which is not yet available) :)

Wow…that clearly shows how I got into Cal…

Thanks!
