I am applying to ivies and the like.</p>
<p>Yes, I realize "thread" should be outside of quotations in title. Also, I couldn't come up with any good usernames, but I'm pretty well-rounded.</p>
<p>Well, in my opinion, a 790 in Math IIC is a decent score for Ivies. I don’t think boosting it up by just 10 points is going to be the deciding factor in your admissions decision. However - you can wait till July 6 when the score reports come out, and then request a rescore if you feel that a mistake has been made. Or, of course, you could retake it - the choice is up to you.</p>
<p>As for Lit, anything above 700 is decent, although I’d recommend 750+ for Ivies.</p>
