I’ve searched through the past threads, but haven’t seen one that really explains what it takes to transfer from the college to wharton. What EXACTLY are the criteria?

Yes, I need to have ECON 1 and 2 and Math 104. If I have 5’s on micro, macro, and BC calc, does that cover it?

What does my GPA have to be? If I have a 3.9 and have fulfilled those above requirements, am I guaranteed? What if I’m below 3.9? What else is used to evaluate? An essay?

I know I’m not the only one with these questions, but they simply haven’t been answered elsewhere on the boards. Thanks.

I was accepted ED to the CAS, but after visiting a few times, I am becoming more and more interested in what Wharton has to offer. I don't necessarily want to do it, but I want to know everything there is to know about transferring before I make a decision.

I'm confused. Are you a senior in high school? If so, you have to attend CAS for a year before you transfer right. You can't transfer before you start can you? Isn't the GPA req. talking about the Penn GPA and not your high school GPA? And can you take those classes (Mac. Mic. and BC) at Penn freshman year and then transfer? Any info would help.

That's ridiculous that you want to transfer and you have been accepted for only two months. Its situations like these that makes me question why people applied ED, locking themselves into something if they in reality were unsure.

how ironic. "don't judge people" as you call him an idiot. no harsh feelings or anything i just thought it was kinda funny. but i was wondering if wharton is a lot harder to get into than the normal college.

another reason it may be more difficult this year (the general consensus is 3.7~3.8) is because the admissions office at Wharton "allegedly" accepted more Wharton kids than they should've, by a large margin. not sure how accurate that rumor is, but its been floating around campus.
