Anthropology as a Pre-Law major

Anthropology actually ranks pretty high on that data table floating around of majors and their average LSATs. Anyone have their ideas as to why? It is also weirdly combined with Geography on there.

I consider anthropology a social science discipline but more sciency than sociology or psychology. As a major, does it emphasize critical thinking and writing like what a good major for law school should?
