Hello,

For anyone who is familiar with integrated or evolutionary biology graduate programs, would it be unusual for an Anthropology major to be accepted into these programs? I am currently considering a degree in Anthropology because I think NYU's Biology program is too focused on lab work and is filled with premedical students rather than people who are actually interested in the subject. Still, I am very interested in learning about plants and animals. I would still take biology courses, but just the ones that interest me rather than obtaining an official major/minor. On top of this, NYU's Anthropology program does a thorough job of integrating biological anthropology into the curriculum. Thoughts?

Thanks!
