I've read that Michigan has one of the best schools for anthropology in the country. Can anybody majoring in it tell me about Michigan's anthropology department?

What can be said of the consensus #1 department of Anthropology in the US? It is truly one of the best programs anywhere. Of course, Anthropology has several sub-departments, and Michigan is not necessary #1 in all of them, but it is uniformally strong across the many sub-disciplines.

Given its large instructional faculty (40 professors) and relatively small number of students (130 students per graduating class) classes tend to be small and faculty are very much focused on undergrads.

Wow, that sounds great! Thanks!

Thanks! I appreciate this, too. I’m still tossing up between Anthropology/Archaeology and English.

What are job opportunities in Anthropology from UMich?

anyone else get the feeling that our good ole’ ■■■■■ tentai = Renewed?
